It is with great pride I able to announce today that I have been asked to speak at this year’s Toastmaster International Convention. Toastmasters is worldwide organization dedicated to helping people become better public speakers and leaders. Toastmasters has 13,500 clubs in 116 different countries with over 280,000 members. While I am not a Toastmaster member, I am honored to be chosen to speak at this year’s event in Cincinnati. Last year’s convention was in Orlando and next year it is Kuala Lumpur! For more info on the event (and to see my bio!) you can head to this web site:

In the speaking world, this is a big deal….only a handful of speakers are chosen each year to speak at the International Event. I am looking forward to giving a great hour to the folks in Cincinnati. Thanks to the wonderful staff at Toastmasters for choosing me to speak at such a prestigious event.

I know I know…we are not even to spring yet in 2013. But I am already getting requests for 2014! It seems many event planners are already starting to plan for the next year…and so I am. I still have holes in my calendar for 2013 and would love to be a part of your event this year, but if you have interest in my services for 2014, please contact me so we can get a hold on the date you want!

Please take your time and look around a bit and see if what I have to offer as a motivational speaker on leadership meets your needs. If I can help, please go to the contact page and let me know. I would love the opportunity to share my experiences as a professional athlete and a banker with your group. A good event for me is one where we all laugh a lot, maybe tear up a bit and everyone walks away a little more motivated and educated in leading those around them.

There is simply no excuse for going into a meeting without knowing all you can about the person you are meeting with and their business.
I take that approach with each and every speaking engagement I agree to. I want to know all about the event and those in attendance. I want to know their business…what are the challenges, what are the opportunities…
It means knowing the demographics of who will be in front of me. Am I at an awards trip conference or an annual meeting? All these things matter to me. Knowing my audience and being prepared is a recipe that has served me well for a long time. It still works…..it might even be a part of my presentation!
CONTINUE READINGThe web site you’re now on was put together by the good folks at Ten Fast Feet in Nashville, Tennessee. When I went looking for a company to produce a new site for me, I spent a ton of time looking at different companies to use. When I came across Ten Fast Feet, it just seemed to catch my eye (isn’t that what you want from a web designer….)
After meeting with them I was sold. They do so much more than just put together web pages. If you want creative, bright, energetic people to work with, give Ten Fast Feet a call. I had great expectations of them and they delivered.
